dear girls
Mama is missing you. So anxious to come see you again. Papa is thrilled to bring you home. Chrysta has been begging for you to come ever since we left each other. Ben and Sophie ask every day when you will come. Maia couldnt BE more thrilled to have more sisters. Ethan doesnt say much but he is like that. He is too absorbed in his own world. Thats just his way. You are so loved. we worry about you and think about you and worry for your health EVERY day. We wonder what you are doing. We are so anxious to hold you in our arms. We knew in October you were our daughters, our girls, but we just couldnt bring you home then. You can bet we didnt waste a single minute to get you once we got home and settled. If you see Vasiliy tell him we love him too. Though we have tried and tried we have been unable to get any information on adopting Vasiliy and will have to wait until we get there to find out more. but tell our Jacob Vasiliy he is in our hearts no matter what. We are hoping for the best. we love you all and look forward to spending our days together with you in the sunshine of Ptown. Seeyou soon.

DOSSIER DELIVERED!!!

dossier held up in France. I am betting there is a backlog due to the ash cloud cancellations of flights. As hard as it is to think it is stuck there, I really expect in a day or two it will be on its way no problem. but man WAITING! more WAITING! I wanna hold my girls! I wanna love on my Molly. I want to see the faces of Natasha and Diana when they realize who we are and that we are there for THEM. I wanna go! I wanna go NOW! heck if I thought I could get away with it I would go there early and see them. but I know the rules and that isnt how its done. so go on waiting. Getting nervous and wondering what will happen with Jacob Vasiliy. waiting to hear ANYTHING on Molly. but hey its moving pretty darn fast and I should just be happy for that.

I hope and pray that one day it is not me on the other end of this kind of post. Knowing my girls have health problems and that people with arthrogryposis often do very poorly under anesthesia yet many surgeries loom ahead is very scary. Im willing to risk it, in order to love them as long as I can before they leave this world. but the pain is something I can not even fathom. I lost a pregnancy before I even had long to know the person growing within me. That was horrendous. I cant imagine what it is like to lose a child you had 6 months or a year or 10 years with. I just. cant. imaigne. so think of Chrissie and her family. leave kind words on their blog. pray if you pray. but please please hold this family in your heart and hope for one baby's life.

came together so quickly! but this volcano thing is holding up our sending it off. 4 months from asking about them waiting for info, to having a sleepless night when we found there was a sibling, to deciding once and for all to take on that sibling even though her needs are not familiar to us, to homestudy meetings, to paperwork gathering,to passport ordering, to doctor visiting, to apostilling and WAHLAH! DING! DONE! AMAZING!

and yet......

I have 95% of my dossier put together. We of course still have to get the corrected BCA crime search but we will do that on Thursday when we go to apostille. Yesterday we signed a ton of docs at the notary but he messed one up. no big deal I made another, just need to get up there and sign it early next week. Today I got the medical forms and doctors license. In checking them over I found that oops someone crossed out a date. dangit now that entire form needs redoing. but I guess we are closer than last week right?

thats it. and then apostille. and SEND! can you believe I am talking about SENDING! yikes!! SCARY! this adoption has gone even faster than the last one, which was faster than the first! at this rate next time we adopt it will be lightning speed! lol. Still need to raise some more money. but hopefully will have a month or two more before we travel. Planning a garage sale but just have no tables. and no one who is willing to share theirs.

Adoption is in our hearts,

when someone calls and you need to make a note, where do you put it? On the fridge! now where is that magnet? I will give away a set of Ukraine magnets! If you donate to our adoption fund you will get your name in the drawing one time for each dollar. Help us save three young girls from a dark future in orphanages and ultimately being turned onto the streets at a young age with no way to support themselves. Young people turned out from the orphanages often turn to drugs and or prostitution. Now think of your child, or your neighbors child, or your niece or nephew or cousin. Would you want them on the streets on their own at age 16? would you want to see them prostituting themselves just to get enough money to eat? that is no life for a child! Help us save these girls from this life of hell that awaits them.

While we are not church going people, we do have big hearts and give regularly to community programs. We give our clothes to the local clothes closet for the needy. We give things we no longer need to the thrift shop that employs seniors. We donate the the community group that puts on christmas for kids and feeds lunch to anyone who shows up and gives the kids gifts and lets them meet with Santa for free. We have spent our savings on adopting two kids with special needs. We donate to the hospital foundation. We give to united way. We buy toys for the toys for tots program. We give and give and give. We are givers. You cant take it with you when you die. We are happy to help others. its what we love. But this time we need a little help. In order to bring home these three little girls whose future is grim we need to raise enough money to complete three international adoptions. a super de duper excitement and then a let down

YAY! I said! our state police clearance arrived! one more piece of the puzzle! wahoo! open it up and ???? they MISSPELLED OUR NAMES! even though the names are at the top of the letter as stationery. Even though I spelled each name to say here is the complete name you need to check. and yet? they spelled it wrong on BOTH of our letters. I am pretty sure that the country of choice doesnt care that the ENGBERG family has no criminal record. mostly because they(and we!) have no idea who they are! they want to hear that the ENBERG family has no criminial history. GR! how simple was it to READ THE LETTER and write down the name AS YOU SEE IT? apparently quite difficult. once again not reading the letter has resulted in screwed up results.

amusing myself

since I am again on the quest for the perfect names I came up with this. (after watching the movie Juno) molly would be the little one. Natasha Liberty, Diana Justice. then we would have Liberty and Justice for Moll. hahahaha I kill myself wiht my jokes. no one but my husband ever gets half of them and even then he only laughs half the time. so mostly I just amuse myself. hey someone has to do it!
